"Unfortunately, I would recommend looking elsewhere. I have been paying my insurance premium for years, never filing any claims.. until the hurricane hit in October this year. The state farm agent came out and agreed that our unit was damaged by storm water, but that since he couldn’t determine where the storm water entered from, our claim was denied. We live on floor 6 of a 10 story building. He came at a time that he couldn’t access the roof to see any damage up there. He also came over a month after I filed the claim, and saw that recent repairs had been done in possible entry points above us. I reached out twice for additional assistance. Once I was told Jim was sick, and the other time I received no response. They are nice and send you hand signed birthday cards, but when you actually need them for the service you pay for they leave you hanging. I’m planning to change to a different company before the next hurricane season."

"I have been a customer here at Jim Cornwell since moving to Florida in 2020. Prior to Florida I had State Farm and Allstate, although not much cause to use either policy much. Since moving to Florida I consolidated all of my policies with State Farm and I have found the service at this location to be excellent. When I started all of the policies, Anthony walked me though my coverages, which came in handy later when I had several large appliance repairs (otherwise would not have known I had coverage). I also have called with questions or additions to my policies and Laurie is always right on it - responsive and providing confirmation by email of the changes and costs. I would recommend this office to anyone just moving to Florida."
